El ATBD (Documento Base Teórico de Algoritmos) describe el proceso de desarrollo y producción de los mapas y algoritmos utilizados en la Colección 3.0 de MapBiomas Ecuador. El ATBD es un documento dinámico que se encuentra en constante actualización para agregar nueva información y aprendizajes.
There is a General ATBD of MapBiomas Ecuador with a set of appendices that detail the methodologies for the classification of the cross-cutting themes that were implemented. The methodology of these cross-cutting themes has been developed thanks to the work of RAISG in the Amazon area and in some cases it was adapted to be able to replicate it to the Ecuadorian territory. These additional adaptations were: the extension of the work area to other mosaic regions; integration of stable samples from other sources; and the inclusion of complementary samples.
